Hey, I'm Ava. I'm 17, and I've wanted to work in the film industry since I was 6 years old.

I'm fascinated with the exploration of human connection that moving image explores. In my perspective, films are gifts to and from each other; through films we experience empathy, compassion, and education in a way no standard teaching can inform. Films are the closest and purest form of shapeshifting we have - we become diegetic to the setting. I want nothing more than a part in this phenomenal craft.

 

I've experimented with many 'roles' over the years, trying to find the right place for me. This portfolio is a collection of the various different roles I've tested and tried, from sound design, to script writing, to directing. I currently am aiming to pursue a career in editing, as it has always been my most enjoyed part of making films.
